How you will contribute to our success
- Work hand-in-hand with business stakeholders to identify requirements, plan milestones, and polish features by measuring their performance
- Raise the engineering bar in the company, implementing best practices in the cross-team environment and mentoring more junior engineers
- Champion the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic coding tools into the team's workflows to accelerate delivery without compromising code quality
- Decompose the monolith, building a modern import/export pipeline to support hundreds of third-party integrations
- Migrate the application environment from the private cloud to the AWS platform
- Choose adequate technical and business metrics to monitor features and manage the risk
- Solve technical design issues
You will thrive in this role if you
- Have solid relevant experience in backend engineering
- Are familiar with AI-assisted software development, including agentic coding tools and workflows
- Have experience mentoring and developing team members, providing technical guidance, constructive feedback, and support while fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- Have solid experience with our technical stack:
- Modern PHP & Symfony
- Relational and non-relational databases
- Docker and containerized environments
- Have a practical knowledge of:
- Designing and working with event-driven, asynchronous and integration-heavy systems
- Decomposing monolithic architectures
- Clean Code, SOLID principles, Test-Driven Development
- Have experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Have excellent English communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a distributed team
